Art Group

Facilitated by Melissa

This will be an in-person adult group, with art supplies provided, (magazines for collage, coloring books, rocks, canvases, paints like acrylics and watercolor but no oil). Gentle and laid-back, no experience necessary. A time for you to feel inspired and enjoy the company of others. About Melissa: Hello, I love being creative. I have a bachelors in Fine Arts and for many years I was a volunteer counselor at Esquimalt Neighbourhood house. I took time away to raise my three children, who are now all in school, the oldest is 12 and youngest is 6. I feel more present and focused in life when I allow inspiration to flow through me. The art group is a time for you to reconnect with that creative side of yourself. It might even remind you what it was like to play with art like when you were a child doing finger paints in kindergarten. Here is a watercolor painting and haiku I did during one of the monday nights in the fall of 2022.
